Rule of Thirds

This is my interpretation on the rule of thirds. I have illustrated this by outlining where they on the original picture and then highlighting the particular point of interest. This is an old picture i have taken and have applied this technique without thinking or knowing that it existed. This tells me that the rule of thirds is a natural response to the eye in gaining the most interesting image and ever since learning what it is i will take it into consideration when recording any sort of image.
